Their behavior is also influenced by their stats (a creature with more attack power will become more aggressive, for example). Many of maxis-made creatures will appear randomly throughout the stage, when they appear depending on both your stats and theirs. I found it chucklesome when they used to wordfilter the f-word to "fork" in the official spore forums. Compared to the other stages, Creature Stage has the most creatures made by Maxis. Argueing the toss, I know, but if it is really important enough that they're willing to ban a user for a week on their first 'infraction', skipping the warning step, then why not wordfilter comments? Anybody deliberately bypassing the filter are obviously doing it mindfully, that way. Had he insulted the creator, that would have been a different story.
